I am so honored to have the opportunity to recommend you. However, I really didn't want to write an impersonal, cold, and boring letter of recommendation for you. After the months of planning and hand holding, it just didn't seem right to write a letter like that. Instead I would like to convey my utmost gratitude for your services. And by services I mean not only planning my wedding with me but taking all of my frantic phone calls and emails, making over 150 wedding programs by hand, helping me deal with crazy family members, and most of all, caring about the most important day of my life. You truly cared about the quality of the wedding that you were planning. Sure, you did the standard tasks that a wedding planner does. But that is not all you did, you went above and beyond!

You always made sure that I was happy and that things were going to the direction that I wanted. You never pressured me into any decisions or forced your ides on me. You helped me to create a wedding that reflected my personality and my dreams. You gave great suggestions and were very creative with ideas for decorations and themes. You knew all the little trucks of the trade. To this day people still comment to about how organized and on top of things you were. And no one will every forget your emergency kit!

Not only were you there for me, helping me, but you were also a big help to my Mom and other family. Everyone involved in the wedding – my bridesmaids, Jonathan, my mother-in-law, etc. – were so glad that they could count on you. You answered their questions, gave directions, reminded them of deadlines, made appointments and made sure they were happy too! It was such a relief to know that you were “running interference” for me so that I didn’t have to organize all of them. It really helped everyone in the family to have to planning the wedding.

It's funny because I never imagined that I would have a wedding planner. I thought I could just do it all myself. I would get one of those wedding planning books from Martha Stewart and handle it all myself. Wrong! There is no way that I could have put on such a gracious, sophisticated and fun wedding if it were not for you. I had no clue how much work goes into just one little day. There are so many details that you would never expect. You helped me to know what to expect, how to handle the vendors, what works well and what does not work, when to schedule appointments, what pitfalls to watch out for, etc. Your services were invaluable. Just having you there, knowing that you were watching out for me and for all the details that needed to be in place, gave me such a sense of peace – I knew I was in good hands!

I know that I would not have enjoyed my own wedding if I had to plan it myself. I would have been worrying about details instead of dancing and visiting with guests. On my wedding day I was so calm. I enjoyed every second of it. I was relaxed and had time to spend just hanging out with my Mom, sister and bridesmaids. I’m not sure many brides can say that. With your help my wedding day was truly the BEST day of my life! I was so lucky to have you!
